Each image has been touched up and all are at 300 dpi. Most are small (1"-3") but some are larger (4"-5"). 

This particular collection is filled with images that are believed to be in the public domain, so there are no limitations on the usage of these images. You are only restricted in that you can't redistribute the collection/compilation as it is, because that is copyrighted.
